Status: Newest addition to the team

Forrest is the newest member of Southern Comfort Working Dogs, born in April 2024 from parents Lumi and Shag at Freedom Labradors in Cape Cod. As the nephew of Jarvis, Forrest arrived in June 2024 and is described as being "sweet like his mother." Before beginning public outings after his 16-week vaccinations, Forrest received early socialization in a carefully designed training environment that exposed him to various stimuli, obstacles, and enriching experiences to build confidence. Like all our dogs, Forrest comes from health-tested parents with a full DNA panel ensuring freedom from genetic diseases, plus hip and elbow X-rays submitted to the Orthopedic Foundation Association for scoring. We're excited to watch Forrest develop into a valuable service and comfort dog who will bring smiles and happiness to our community.
